Vista for a Cure

Just a friendly reminder to dress your son/daughter in pink this Thursday, Oct. 2nd. We are happy to be participating in the Vista for a cure event and we will be walking around the Vista track with the whole school. We will also stay for the opening ceremonies and perhaps for a part of the game. Thank you to all who have made donations to this worthy cause.

We're going to Colasantis!!

We are excited that we will be able to visit Colasantis tropical garden on October 15th. It's an all day field trip filled with wagon rides, mazes, petting farm, animal show and more. Everyone is to bring their own bagged lunch. The cost for the students is $15 and any parents that like to come need to send in $2 for themselves. Also, all the parents will need to drive and meet us at Colasantis as we do not have enough room on the bus. Please be sure to send in the permission forms and money by October 8th.

Welcome!

We would like to welcome all of our students back and also extend a warm welcome to all of our new families to our wonderful school.  Mme Roula and myself are very blessed and fortunate to be your child's teachers this year! We are looking forward to an awesome and memorable year together. Please come by on Thursday, September 25th, 4:30-6:30pm, for our Meet the Teacher night. We will also be having a French Book Fair in the library. We look forward to seeing you all!

Community Helpers

As a part of our curriculum expectation learning about community helpers we were very fortunate to have a few community helpers come and share with us what they do.  We would like to thank Chef Eric and his sous chef Katie for coming in and making mini pizzas with us.  Thank you to Officer T who taught us about the many jobs of a police officer and answered many of our important questions. Lastly, we could like to thank Mr. P the scientist and Emily who showed us some very cool experiments and even made a volcano erupt! The students have also worked really hard to make our own community using many recyclable and craft materials. Great job everyone!
