Pyjama Day

On Friday, December 19th, we will have a pyjama day. It will be a fun filled day with a Spirit assembly, Christmas carol singing and watching a special movie at the end of the day. A great way to spend the last day before the holidays:)

Christmas Concert

On Tuesday, December 16th, our class as well as several other kindergarten classes will be presenting a little Christmas concert during the elementary Christmas concert. You are welcome to attend, it will be held in our gym. If possible, have your child wear Christmas colours! Parking will probably be an issue so if you are planning to come, it might be a good idea to either car pool or come earlier.

Santa Visit

We are very fortunate to have Santa come and visit us on Monday, December 15th. He will be talking to each student and then he will read us a special Christmas story. We will be sure to take lots of photos:) Check our blog sometime next week!

Castles and Fairy tales

As you are aware our students learn many of our curriculum expectations through their interest/inquiry. Our students have been very interested in castles and fairy tales. Through this inquiry we have learned our 2D shapes and 3D figures, numbers, simple patterns, graphing, measurement, story retell, specialized vocabulary, alphabet letters and sounds, etc, etc.
