Socks

Our students have been interested in animals and we have been learning about all the different kinds that live on our planet...marine, forest, farm, etc. As one of the activities, the students will make their own sock animal and then we will make short skits and stories with them. If you have any old, clean socks to donate we would love to take them off your hands. Also, if you have any other craft items such as googlie eyes, yarn, etc. Thank you!

Winstars Gymnastics Field Trip

We are very excited to be going to Winstars Gymnastics for our field trip on March 24th. It is a half day trip from 9:30 to 12:00pm. We will soon contact any parents that have volunteered to come and supervise on our trip. Due to limited space on the bus, volunteers will be required to drive to the centre. Please be sure your child is wearing gym appropriate shoes and clothing. Also, if you haven't done so already, please send in the two signed forms along with $9 to cover the cost of the trip. Looking forward to a fun field trip! 

Spring Picture Day

On Monday, March 9th, the students will be taking their spring pictures. If you'd like your child to take their spring picture please make sure to fill out and send back the Lifetouch form sent home earlier this week. Thank you.

Hot Dog Band Fundraiser

The orders for hot dogs are due this Friday, March 6th. Thank you for supporting our TVA elementary band!

Animals and colours

Our students have been interested in animals and mixing colours! After reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, we decided to mix our own primary colours and paint different animals with them. Some of our colour mixing predictions were correct and some gave us surprises.  

Parent/teacher Interviews

Student report cards went home yesterday. Please go over the report card with your child and send back the signed picture page in the envelope provided. Parent/teacher interviews will be taking place on Thursday, February 5th from 4-7pm. Please use the interview booking website to book an interview. Thank you and hope to see you on Thursday.
